LGL Matching Review
People whose LGL record could not be matched automatically. Each one needs a decision so their gifts land on the right constituent.
Why items land here
One reason only: we matched this person to an LGL constituent that another UI Engine account already owns — usually a shared household email. Linking anyway would post this member's payments to that other person's giving record, so we stop and ask. In the meantime the member gets their own separate constituent, which can be merged in LGL later.
What each button does
- Re-check LGL link is the only action that changes anything. It re-runs the sync for that person: if their linked constituent no longer exists in LGL — what a merge leaves behind on the losing record — the stale link is cleared and they are re-matched.
- Close this item is bookkeeping. It records who closed it and when, and nothing else. It does not re-link anything, does not contact LGL, and does not verify that the problem is gone.
Closing is not permanent
If the same conflict comes up again on this person's next sync or purchase, a fresh item is raised here. A re-flag means the fix did not hold. After merging duplicates in LGL, re-check first, then close.
